Every law has their reasons to exist. However - some age like milk, some are worded weirdly and some are suspiciously specific. Here are a few real life examples:
  • In Lanjarón, Spain, an edict was passed forbidding death because the cemetery was full.
  • In Germany, it is not forbidden to attempt breaking out of prison because freedom is considered a basic human instinct. However, committing any crime in the process—like ignoring an officials' order or destroying a prison window—will get you back into prison.
