Hirgwallt the Fair

Hirgwallt the Fair (pronounced "Heer-Do-Wall-Sh-T," or "Long Hair") is a venerable and aged king, elected by the Arweinydd (pronounced "Ar-way-nid") to lead their people. A practiced Fey mage, Hirgwallt also practices the Druidic Lore, combining the elements of life and natural connection with the power of the fey. While his people show beauty in all their craftsmanship, he excels in his old age at the beauty of magecraft, and where his craft is known he is respected.   Hirgwallt finds himself in a difficult position. To the north lie the Tekeni nomads who raid their tradesmen on their side of the River Everblight. To the east lie the gobskens of Morgaleth, whose fortress resides on the other side of The Badlands. To the west lie the tunnels of the Chakogu Clan, who on occasion make their way north in search of iron and steel. The only safe lands for trade are to the south, but that requires crossing the River Everblight at its thickest point, inviting observation by the Big Folk (who are currently blissfully unaware of their settlement). The only potential ally for him is Murad Al-Jabbar, Sultan of the Sahar Jinn, who mostly keep to themselves, and rarely strike deals.   Hirgwallt will benefit most from adventurers ready to trek across the River Everblight to escort his goods to favorable markets, or persons willing to bring one of his enemies to their knees.
