Coblynau

The coblynaureu are small people, four inches of squat and broad-shouldered muscle who tend to inhabit caves and other natural fissures. They are capable miners, and often help the Big Folk without them ever knowing it by creating fissures for them to find. They are ugly with cracked skin and matted hair, but they are very good-natured, preferring a laugh and a song to war and strife (though they are no foreigners to the latter).
A coblynau will work with almost all of the smaller races, providing metals, precious ores, and crafted items from their forges. Other races work with metals, it is the workmanship of the coblynaureu that is most prized for their artisanry and finery. If you are looking for good armor, tools, or items that are fashioned by a craftsman, find a coblynau to make them for you.
The coblynau have no natural aversions to magic, although they are also not well known for using magic. Their people tend to focus much more on the work of their hands, and artisans are more prized among their people than a mighty war caster.
