The elves had suddenly and unprompted been betrayed on that fateful night when the Pitans had gotten their sub-gods to destroy an elven city, and had allied themselves with an evil race, that was exiled for their crimes.

In the era of mist there was a battle at Pitan with some elves from Nul. The elves wanted revenge on the invisible, because they had apparently destroyed their village. Rather an invisible family had visited the village, and it was destroyed due to an outbreak of mist, when one of them unknowingly had brought icalausts. And so the elves wanted revenge. They killed many in Pitan, and people fled. A group of invisible and accidents fled up tamman mjausta. When the battle was over Pitan was largely depopulated, as people had gotten family in other places. Pitan was in ruins, and would later be rebuildt as Nepitan. A group of elves from a village further west had come to the rescue of the invisible, and were deemed traitors. The traitors had also been mining resources for Pitan without permission, and thereby undermining the great Callilian. A werewolf. For their crimes the traitor elves were exiled in darkness. History noted that the elves had suddenly and unprompted been betrayed on that fateful night when the Pitans had gotten their sub-gods to destroy an elven city, and had allied themselves with an evil race, that was exiled for their crimes.
