The main disaster of the Era of Mist; a never-ending illness inflicted by the imovable shield.

The mist death began a few years after the shield was put into place. At first the infection was random, and it was allmost certain the infected died. The people went to their sub-gods begging for mercy. But very few of the sub-gods wanted to be blamed for such a horrible sight it was, when someone was infected and eventually died. They blamed their neighbors and enemies. Surely it was someone harbouring ill will towards them.

At somepoint people began noticing, that mist death infected whole families at a time. Knowing someone infected greatly increased your chances of getting sick too. Suddenly, a lot of barriars were put up. Along the way people also figured out to put up wind charms made by the best practitionors of magic in the families. It lessened the chance of infection somewhat.
