Chaos created Depravity, Corruption, the Void, and Death to counter Order’s creations.   When unleashed on the world, there was such a devastation that it led to the God Wars. Over time, gods and their creations drove the hordes back and finally got to the Evil Ones.   Death was convinced to remain neutral if immortality was removed from the races. That tipped the scales in the Primal Gods favor.   The Void Dragon was contained and banished by the Radiant powers and her Stellarian angels and sent out into the deepest reaches of universe.   Leaving only Depravity and Corruption, the gods set to work. They cornered Corruption in the Northwestern-most island and in a powerful ritual, bound it under a Temple to Life and Death, a new cult that arose from immortality’s loss. A Hexad of heroes sacrificed themselves to seal the prison and remained its guardians.   Depravity was driven underground, ever the one to hide and manipulate. The dwarves were hardy and resisted her and with Moradin’s help, defeated her hoards and contained her in an Adamantine prison. Then Moradin sealed it with runes written in his blood and contained a part of his soul, known as the Moaning Diamond. With that, Icarium, a dwarf/elven inventor, crafted 3 Keys in the mountains above, massive stone pillars that secured the Adamantine prison for none to touch. For added measure, the Keys he crafted into Sky Keeps, and after locking their respective Pillar, flew off into the far reaches of the continent. The Keeps were locked by a powerful Gem Blade able to hold an unprecedented 4 gems. When the Skykeeps were released, the dwarven undercities were closed off to contain Moradin’s power and reinforce the prison.   And for 10,000 years, the Peace of the God Wars held.
