The Goddess of the Moon, Mwezi was not only beautiful, she was also very nice. Which captured the attention of Nyota, the God of the Stars and Jua. Only Nyota saw her beauty and nothing else. Something she knew all too well. Still she was not able to refuse him outright. Jua warned her about Nyota, only she did not listen. One night Nyota tricked her, by requesting her to join him in the night sky. When there she discovered that she was not able to escape the sky. Worried about her Jua sourced for her, only to find her in the night sky surrounded by Nyota's stars. Jua quickly went up there only to find out that he was not able to reach her. Jua was forced to run after her till the end of times. Only to take a glimpse of her one day of each year.
