Eye of Frederick Kilchherren

Frederick Kilchherren is the mayor of the creepy town called Gazetown. A small ghost town that is plagued by the strange, macabre and the undead. He has being mayor for over sixty years and maybe even longer than that. To think of it, most of the citizens in Gazetown do not know his age, or how long he has being in office. Some of those are the people that lived there all their lives and are well in their late stages of live. But again, this doesn't bother the town folk. As long as he protects and guides the people of the town, with advice and skeptic point of view. To point out another side of things, besides the strange, macabre and the undead.

Frederick was attacked by a werewolf at one point in his life, at least that is how the story goes. And it wouldn't be a strange thing, because it is known under the citizens of Gazetown that there are werewolves and other creatures inside the black forest that surrounds the small town, cutting it off from the rest of the world. It has being whispered, that a young Frederick tried to brave the forest and then came across the werewolf, with his fur blacker than the darkest night. The young Frederick returned to Gazetown bleeding, his lost eye in his hand. Lucky to be still alive, but he was never the same after that.

It is not known what happened to his lost eye after that, some whisper that it is inside his office resting in a glass jar. But that can be chalked up as a rumor, a wild turn of the townsfolk imagination. Or is it?
