Personal history

Jianyu grew up in China and lived with just his mother. His father left when he was really young, so he barely remembers him. When Jianyu was 16, his mother was murdered by the Chinese mafia, and then Jianyu left China to go to the city where his father was last known to be; San Fransokyo (name pending). However, when Jianyu arrived, he learned that his father had died already. Jianyu had spent all his money to get there, and now had none left and nowhere to go. Luckily, Shinya a found him not too long after and offered his help. Jianyu joined Shinya's gang, and also continued his schooling and went on to college as well, which is where he meets Aremis.
