The Goutobo Confederacy

The Goutobo Confederacy is the smallest nation in Albekulan in terms of geographical size. Due to generations of land loss from invading neighboring countries, Goutobo has expanded upwards into the sky in great towers. These towers are called the Mlima's, and each of the four Goutobo citystates is built around a central Mlima with smaller shanties and towns existing beyond the spires.

The Goutobo Confederacy is comprised of four citystates under loose monarchal leadership. The first and capitol of the great citystates is Bidé Yokasso, a culturally significant and spiritually advanced society which explores the power of Didiri; a magic-esc energy derived from inspiration. Yokassians are respected for their explorations into art and history, and make for excellent scholars and leaders.

The second of the citystates is Edeganga, a northern tropical province which is proud of its unique beauty and abundant natural resources. Edeganans are known to be hard workers and excellent laborers, and often become architects and engineers.

The third of the citystates is Zmboco, a once-minor west province that has become an antagonistic industrialist super-power after discovering great oil reserves beneath their lands. The power gained from this new energy source has catapulted them into a new age of innovation, but they have turned sour towards the rest of the confederacy and have been stirring the pot for some time now.
The last of the citystates is Guéga which has been annexed by Zmboco and converted into a refinery for their crude oil. Once known for their
The Goutobo flag. The four white stripes represent peace between the four citystates. The yellow sun represents the wealth of the land and the hot sun they all live beneath equally. The green leaves represent the natural beauty of the region, and the black borders represent the shared culture between all Goutobians.
