15 - Fire Burns Bright

General Summary

The party is awakened by the sound of an arcane explosion from Dhumkk'd's room. Flames cover every wall, furnishing and decoration as the staff and feather hover ominously in the center. Gem washes away most of the flames, and Mender wrenches the feather from the top of the staff.
Abridged Recap:

• Party washes out fire before it gets too intense
• Dhummk'd dreams of a meeting with Jal, who has mysteriously grown older than he remembers. Jal tells Dhumkk'd it has been five years since they last talked; Jal joined a patrolling voyager ship that surveys the continent's coastlines, mostly inspired by Dhumkk'd's words of encouragement.
• In the morning, the party is led by a boisterous elven man named Foco towards the Umber Base in the mountains behind Rumbleshack. They're greeted by Kouga the Sundersoul, and brought to where Hakai Umber's body is being contained.
• The party fight and defeat the many-headed snake revenant emitting from Umber's body, which is absorbed into Gem's pendant with Umber's soul. 
• Kouga thanks them for their efforts and points them towards Embrefal, the major port city within the Pool of Embers.
