The Treaty

Preamble

This Treaty, known as the Covenant of Blood and Magic, is entered into on this day by and between the Devil Lord Ra'drak, hereinafter referred to as "Ra'drak," and the House of Abamont, represented by its Head, hereinafter referred to as "the House," collectively referred to as "the Parties." The Kingdom of Flamel and all lands other and territories belonging to the House or to liegeman of vavasor thereof shall hereinafter be referred to as "the Kingdom"

I. Irrevocability and Duration

1. The Covenant of Blood and Magic shall be irrevocable and perpetual, binding both the House and Ra'drak until the last descendant of Thierry Abamont perishes.
2. This Treaty may only be terminated by mutual consent between the Head of the House of Abamont and Ra'drak.

II. Unification and Aid

1. Ra'drak shall aid the House in the unification of the human realms under its leadership within the Kingdom.
2. Through the use of mortal servants, Ra'drak shall provide assistance to the House and the Kingdom.

III. Mutual Cooperation and Protection

1. Neither Party shall knowingly and willingly act contrary to the goals or benefit of the other Party, nor shall they permit harm to be inflicted upon the other Party through their inaction or by allowing their subordinates to undertake actions contrary to the interests of the other Party.

IV. Service of Champions

1. Ra'drak shall select one Champion from amongst the main line of the House of Abamont for each generation, who shall serve as Ra'drak's Champion on the material plane, commencing upon the chosen individual's 21st birthday. The Champion shall continue to serve Ra'drak in death.
2. The selection of Champions shall be made exclusively by Ra'drak, without consultation of the House and without regard to the Champion's position within the House, except in the circumstance of the individual being the Head.
3. All Champions shall be disinherited and shall be ineligible to ascend to the throne or occupy any significant position within the House.

V. Roles within the Church of Flamel

1. All Champions shall be granted esteemed positions within the Church of Flamel.
2. The eldest living Champion shall serve as the head of the Church, wielding significant influence.
3. The Church of Flamel shall be the official church of the Kingdom, primarily venerating Ra'drak.

VI. Authority of the Church

1. The Church of Flamel shall possess sole authority over all other religious institutions within the Kingdom.
2. The Church of Flamel shall exercise sole judicial authority over any priest of any church within the Kingdom's borders.

VII. Blessing of Divine Magic

1. Ra'drak shall bestow the ability to cast divine magic through him upon 5,000 individuals in the service of the House of Abamont, within the Kingdom.

Conclusion

This Amended Treaty of the Covenant of Blood and Magic, representing the solemn agreement between the House of Abamont and Ra'drak, shall be binding upon both Parties. They pledge their commitment to the terms outlined herein, acknowledging the significance of their obligations and the enduring nature of their alliance.
Signed and Sealed on this day, by the authorized representatives of the House of Abamont and Ra'drak, in the presence of witnesses, to mark the establishment of the Covenant of Blood and Magic.
