They possess extensive knowledge of codes, ciphers, and information networks. Maestros are skilled strategists who guide the operations of the guild by uncovering secrets, deciphering hidden messages, and conducting deep investigations. History
The history of the Chorus of Shadows traces back to its founding in the year 232 of the Southward Expansion by Klaus Mercer, a talented bard and a man driven by a sense of justice and the desire to fight corruption. Returning home from the war, Klaus discovered that his family's once-thriving merchant business had fallen into ruin due to the machinations of a corrupt official. Determined to seek justice and restore prosperity to his family and the common folk, Klaus hatched a daring plan.
Using his exceptional musical abilities and his knowledge of social intricacies, Klaus infiltrated the official's grand estate during an extravagant party. Disguised as a wandering minstrel, he captivated the guests with his enchanting melodies while discreetly gathering information. His performance provided the perfect cover to move through the crowd unnoticed, eventually gaining access to the official's private study. There, Klaus discovered damning evidence of the official's corruption, meticulously recorded in his hidden journals.
With the incriminating documents in his possession, Klaus orchestrated a meticulous exposure of the official's misdeeds. He worked covertly, using his bardic skills to sway public opinion against the corrupt official.
