The Eastern Blue

A few hundred years ago the world was solid, whole. Then in a massive battle of the divine Aeons the world fell apart, turning from Terra into Zephyr. A world of fractured pieces floating in an empty sky. At its center is the abyss, also known as the storm core, the place where all things disintegrate. On the opposite end, upwards, is the pale. As the atmosphere gets thinner and thinner until it’s nothing at all. This is where we find the Eastern blue, an area drawn from a cone starting at the storm core to section off its space to the rest of the sky. It’s an expanse of sky with four defined continents and several islands of the places and peoples that were left after the war and have gone to shape history. No land has yet to be recorded outside of the slice named The Eastern Blue, but that does not stop people from searching and hoping for land beyond their borders and worlds up in the stars.

Geography

The majority of the Eastern Blue is dry, empty sky. Since there’s so little land there’s not a lot of bodies that can hold and store water which is essential to all life. Water and weather is created by the Aeons, divine beasts with immense power that rule over parts of sky. Ifrit, the infernal heatwave, rules in the desert lands near the storm core, and sends out that heat during their lover's dance with Shivr, the glacian cold front, descending from the lands near the pale.   There is only a single permanent river in the whole Eastern Blue that can be found on Dar’Charta, gifted to the Rhuman empire by the strongest of the Aeons, Tiamat, the imperial engine.   The sky is vast and empty. Long distance flyers make use of the Golden Circuit, a stream of air moving in a giant eight shape through the Eastern Blue created by Valefore, the avian aeon of the east world wind. It’s through this highway birds and sailors can navigate and make it through the empty hostile sky.
