The neural technology company Neurodyssey found initial success creating zeotech implants that made the phenomenon of synaesthesia available to the masses, but its ultimate goal was realized with the creation of the Galatea V1 Neural Synthesizer, a zeotech device that allows the user to translate their current emotional state into a piece of music.

By manipulating the Galatea’s various settings, the bitter taste of unrequited love can be rendered a moody symphony, a haunting electronic dirge, or a harrowing aria, though the machine cannot produce lyrics.
