Ranenjěbu
Culture
Culture and cultural heritage
Ranenjěbu, also known as forest goblins, are descended from the goblins who hid themselves in forests during the time of the New Abrizan Empire. Traditional Ranenjěbu foods are typically whatever fruits and vegetables they could cultivate in their forests, along with meat from hunted animals, which was either eaten immediately or preserved through the use of Alchemy. Nowadays raw, alchemically preserved foods are still common among Ranenjěbu.
Alchemy is a significant part of Ranenjěbu culture, and most Ranenjěbu goblins know at least enough to make basic medicines and preservatives.
The Ranenjěbu domesticated wolves, and wolves are still an important part of Ranenjěbu culture.
Common Dress code
Traditional Ranenjěbu clothes are typically made of leather, but many have begun to adopt more modern textile clothes.
Art & Architecture
Traditionally, Ranenjěbu lived inside hollowed out trees or, if the trees weren't large enough, small camouflaged buildings, typically made of wood. In cities, wood is still a common building material among Ranenjěbu, and many buildings are made to be tall, in order to be reminiscent of large trees.
Traditional Ranenjěbu art is mostly paintings and wooden carvings.
