Melchior was a mage who was the host of a Vampire named Riah.

Personal history

Melchior and Riah were the creators of Orcs, Alarunes, and various Chimeras. They are also believed to have discovered the secret to making Homunculi. They did these things using ancient artifacts from Ainand that were found in a wrecked ship a few years prior.
They were both eventually killed by Inquisitors from Viteron. The Inquisitors were technically outside of their jurisdiction, but because of the things the two had done, very few people cared.

Education

Melchior was educated at the Mages' Guild. He was eventually expelled for practicing necromancy and using people to create Chimeras.
