Faeyr is the god of hearth and home, as well as doors and doormaking. His temples typically have ornate doors, sometimes to the point of looking a bit mismatched from the rest of the building, and generally contain a very large hearth, which burns constantly. His shrines are typically built into doors or hearths.
Faeyr has been known to occasionally leave small gifts on the doorsteps of people whose doors he approves of. His criteria for doors is not simply based on the ornateness of doors, although he does enjoy ornate doors, his main criteria are how well-crafted a door is and how well-maintained it is. He would prefer a simple door that is obviously cared for by its owner over a very fancy door that is largely ignored. Faeyr will occasionally lecture those who have very poorly-maintained doors. It has been said that one time, he lectured a noblewoman for five hours straight because of the state of her door. However, it should be noted that he is generally understanding towards those who do not have the ability to properly maintain their door.
