Drevarian Military Overview

Drevaria’s military is a medium sized professional standing army, which is often supplemented by mercenaries.

Melee Infantry

Drevaria has a small amount of melee infantry. Their armor is: helmet, coat of plates, mail, gambeson, boots, and gauntlets. Their arms are: halberds, katzbalgers, and bucklers strapped to the arm.

Ranged Infantry

Drevaria has a moderate amount of ranged infantry. Their armor is: helmet, coat of plates, mail, gambeson, boots, and gloves. Their arms are: war bows, katzbalgers, and mundane arrows.

Cavalry

Drevaria has a large amount of heavy cavalry. Their armor is: helmet, coat of plates, mail, gambeson, gauntlets, cuisses, greaves and turnshoes. Their arms are: lances, hammers, and heater shields. Their horses have plate barding, made similarly to a coat of plates.

Large Artillery

Drevaria has standard ballistae for field battles, and catapults for sieges. These use mundane ammunition.
