Beauty Ideals

Lean musculature that implies strength and agility is desired across genders. In general harsh angular faces are favoured for men and softer features for women similar to humans.

Gender Ideals

Males are considered the sword and females the shield traditionaly. Men would be expected to raid and expand and fight on foreign soil, women however would run the homeland as well as being trained to fight and defend the home from attack. As they no longer have their tribal culture this is no longer a practical necessity, and has translated into a mildly male dominated society as they now take the positions in society that carry sway outside the Tanzel Kruig. However within the Tanzel Kruig gender roles are much more equal than in the average human society.

Historical Figures

Ang, Davilus and Davinae Goran were all important in the transition from the old tribal ways. Komhand Ang is a previous respected ruler but he is a subject of much miscommunication as all the old tribes claimed that he was an ancient ancestor of theirs so noone knows exactly what is the man and what is the myth. Ang Goran was named after him. Also Kohmand is a title rather than a name that further fuels this confusion.
