Holy Books & Codes

No written holy book exists as Orcs were late to the literacy party as a species. However, in the more civilised Orc factions there are many attempts to write down the tenets of the God. But this has led to there being hundreds of these books and all differ in at least a few matters. ArTok's tenets are usually passed down from generation to generation via word-of-mouth, and the bardic tales and ballads.

ArTok has no official sigil, but all have a common theme: that of a Spider with an Orcish mouth and tusks

Gender Identity

Their Orcish Guise is male, its Spider form is female. However it is a God and therefore has no earthly gender.

Accomplishments & Achievements

The ArTok is believed by all Orcs to be their creator. Legend has it ArTok in it's spider form laid a million eggs. The eggs after a century hatched it's children and the fledgling Orc race was born. Over the ages this story became mere myth, but there are those that still believe it's merit and all the Orc race is descended from these hatchlings.

Taboos

If The ArTork manifests in its Orcish Guise it does not like references to its spider form and vice versa. The ArTork loves the ambiguity that its two forms allow and may, in fact, be two separate Gods. The chaos and confusion this wreaks is The ArTork's mana.

As a lesser God, their Avatar has been destroyed many times. But they can always be restored at the whims of the greater Gods
