Fading Of The Rainbow

They say that it all began with a whisper.

A whisper was all it took for the Elves to revolt against the humans.
Now look at where it has brought us.

The Whisper.

During one of the early Council meetings, where all the rulers in Zelestoria provinces come together to further the fruition of Zelestoria and its inhabitants.
This Council was held in the Almar province. The human and humanoid dominant region. Deep in the center the High King of Myrandurr, King Nilmar began to ear whisperings of a power the humans were keeping from the Elves. A power that makes them the closest to their Goddess and he began to get angry.
He sat and stewed on this whisper while the council was going on, the whisper was getting louder and louder till he finally roared at the human King and demanded to give up this power.
Confused and totally lost the Human King, King Michael shrugged and denied he knew anything of this power in which he was talking about.

The Echo.

Everyone heard King Nilmar's shout across Almar and soon everyone began to talk about this new information. Some waved it as nonsense, while others considered it. It travelled across the seas and throughout Zelestoria.
Talk turned to jealous rage and started demanding from the humans impossible tasks- which would result in their demise.
Queen Endilwen of Londir was frightened into siding with Nilmar, since they had recently married their children together. The union of two provinces never happened again.

The Resonation.

The whole world finally turned against the humans and many lost their lives to it's cause. Both the Rainbow Elves and the Humans
Queen Cariwen Anariel and the Aethelites were the only province to stand by the Humans and fight for this injustice.

The Silence

Each province created their own way to remember the tragedy:
Londir - A ritual in which each household owns a small tree. On the day of remembrance, they slice their hand open and bleed into the soil. They utter a prayer to the human's Goddess and pray for forgiveness. (And Eye for An Eye kind of thing)
Myrandurr -
Almar - They created a Song to commemorate such an event Chasing The Rainbow A candle is lit in front of a Goddess statue while the song is sung and then the candle is blown out, followed by a prayer to the Goddess.
Aethel - An Aethelite managed to pass back through the Shadow Dominion, bringing the Almarian song to its people. They gather outside and as one race, they sing. Many hope and wish that if they sing loud enough, the Almarians will hear them.
Morthas -
Aamonbrad - The Braadian's stay exclusivly netural, but on this day they all visit the only human they know and love Cobaen Hywell Jensen and his Tavern.
Galuil -
Merfolk - The merfolk were not as involved as the rest of Zelestoria, but they still played a small part. During this day, a spell is cast over the entire city- no one is allowed to whisper. If you are going to say something, let everyone hear it.
