Order of the Scales

A cavalier order of long and illustrious tradition--if not burdened with the extremity of age--the Order of the Scales serves the cause of legal integrity. Many of their members hunt down and apprehend fleeing lawbreakers so that these vagrants may answer for their crimes and make good on their debts. They often serve as traveling judges and work to ensure that wherever a bargain is made both ends make good on their promises. They accept new recruits from neutrally-aligned adventurers and interested private individuals.

History

General Atalanta founded the order shortly after her retirement from a mercenary company. While the Order of the Scales itself is fairly young, Atalanta and her family have an excellent reputation for honor and fair judgement which lends itself well to the establishment of a new cavalier order.
