2017 - 10/11 - Of Demons and Zombies

General Summary

During the two-week interim, Kamus Rix requested that Rygor, Gnok, Bramble, and Elijah (newly soul-bound to a demon in return for some spells and a very snotty cat) investigate some of his people who have gone missing while investigating a cave not far from Steamfront. The party agreed, finding a nest of strange fast zombies with tentacle-like tongues.

After a few rounds fighting, most of the zombies had been cleared out, leaving only the alien creature at the far end of the cave which appeared to be controlling them. Elijah took a moment out to call on his patron, a Balor Lord by the name of Yoth-Llyeha, through his familiar, Maltha. By some random (10%) chance, the Lord was listening and exchanged discussion with Elijah, reminding him that one of his requirements in return for the witch-related powers was regular sacrifice of living, intelligent humanoids. Irritated at being called for no direct purpose, Yoth-Llyeha proceeded to demand a sacrifice now in return for his attention.

Finding himself suddenly on a platter, Rygor interrupted to introduce himself to the Balor Lord. He asked the Lord for assistance in their future endeavors in return for delivering Trevor Philips and the whole of Trevor Philips Industries to Yoth-Llyeha’s soul-hungry table, alive and ready for consumption. Surprised by the moxy of this human, Yoth-Llyeha agreed to offer them the services of two of his minions to assist in bringing down TPI Industries. The collected party decided on an Incubus and a Banae. Yoth-Llyeha also agreed to allow Rygor use of Elijah’s familiar for future communication.
