General Summary
It’s been an interesting day. Lem and Rygor came to visit me a few times today. The animals were, of course, the primary concern, though they also asked about healing potions. Maybe my prices are a little high still: Rygor seemed put out. They perked up some when I told them about my odds and ends list. Lem staggered off (I suspect Enendin is missing that mug by now) and came back a few hours later with a diamondback in a sock. A friggin’ rattler! In a sock! He was still drunk and obviously terrified of the thing, but I couldn’t help but give him a good price for that. It was impressive.
Rygor also brought me a sock full of grave dirt, which I paid for as promised. He had the whiff of undead on him, so I suspect the skeletons are restless again. I’m worried about that one. It never bodes well to have an undead caller around town. Father Abstalar will hear about it eventually and then we’ll have a crusade and that’s always bad for business. Messy stuff, necromancy. Even I won’t touch it.
I spotted them headed out of town, wandering off towards the plains. I think I heard Lem saying something about luna moths, but who knows with that one. I hope they come back safe. They’re getting to be my best customers.
