In Ambersam

In Ambersam, where shadows creep, A chilling tale the villagers keep, Of werewolf’s howl and moon’s cold light, And Hackie’s fate that fateful night. Young Hackie, curious and bold, Ignored the warnings elders told, Into the forest, he did tread, While moonlight bathed the woods ahead.     The beastly form with eyes aglow, Prowled through the trees, moved swift and low, With claws that slashed and fangs that bit, It seized young Hackie in the night. Now Ambersam sings the sad refrain, Of Hackie lost in moonlit pain, A warning to all who dare ignore, The werewolf's curse forevermore.
