Amethyst Academy

Overview

The Amethyst Academy is a prestigious institution for the study of Chaos and magic. It specializes in Transmutation, Evocation, and Divination. Some notable alumni include Master Arcanist of Lumeria Jhaeros Wysa and Josephine Wysa . It is located in the middle of Liv' Kri and has a multitude of buildings, and holds immense of magical knowledge. It looks like the combination of a university and a high school. The students vary from 100 - 12 years old, most dressed in casual clothes and robes. Groups of students travel together talking and gossiping and hanging out. There are cheerful happy college vibes, and there’s a briskness to certain students as they mill around and some sprawl out happily across the grass.

Headmaster = Xalvador Gwam (Male Half-Elf Abjuration Wizard) Bald and Medium skin, dressed in purple robes, tries too hard to be “hip” (but does this to amuse the students), but is super serious when in adult company
Professor of Divination = Rezto (Female Tiefling Divination Wizard) REAL OLD Tiefling Purple, with round horns in the shape of an almost circle, squints a lot and chews on cheeks a lot
Professor of Transmutation = Ammunro (Genderqueer Changeling Transmutation Wizard) Mischievous and changes appearance constantly but generally retains bright blue hair
Professor of Evocation = Fundor (Female Silver Dragonborn Evocation Wizard) Permanently tired and breathes out cold mist when yawns
Master of Alchemy = Yosser Erfan (Male Gnome Artificer Alchemist) Clumsy and miraculously lucky, never manages to completely spill all his potions
Head Librarian = Liftrasa Helcral (Female Dwarf Librarian) Very sweet and helpful but can really put down alcohol

Buildings

There are several buildings: 1. Headmasters Office, 2. Amethyst Academy Main Building, 3. Student Dorms, 4. Employee Housing, 5. Food Hall, 6. Field/Recreation Building 7. Stores/Potions/Wares, 8. Library/Astronomy Tower, 9. Post Office.

Student Dorms

The student housing is a set of three long buildings a few stories high. There are around 10000 students. They frame a little plaza with a large tree in the middle, where many of the students bask in the shade and climb onto the tree. Housing is separated vaguely by age and (year) class.

Library/Astronomy Tower

The library is a tall square-shaped red-brown brick building, with very new architectural structure and very picturesque. There is a little plaza in front of the building, several benches and soft greenery. There is a large light dome on top of the building, which is dedicated for astronomy and science research. The lower floors of the library are for studying/researching. The building was actually rebuilt 4 years ago, after an incident 4 years ago where some books on necromancy were stolen. 1st and 2nd floor = magical library, 3rd = general info/book library, 4th = Archives and History, 5th = Restricted Information (must have special access), 6th = Astronomy Dome Access = Everyone is permitted to 1 - 3 floor, Student Access/Scholar/Registration for 4th floor (1 silver), Only professors/teachers/people with explicit permission can access the 5th floor. 5th floor contains darker histories/curses/dangerous magic.

Stores/Potions/Wares

They produce bulk potions, such as healing potions and etc. Mildly discounted price for everything here. Yosser Erfan is friendly and bumbling.

Headmasters Office

The Headmaster’s Office has three floors and a bottom basement vault. It is a church or clocktower-like building, tall and triangular.

Administration = General staff and meeting rooms, counseling, admin, etc.
Headmaster’s Office Room = Nice round study/office room where you can meet Headmaster Xalavador. Large desk in the middle and a pseudo dragon hanging out.
Headmaster’s Quarters = Xalavador lives there.

Bottom Floor Vaults = There is a set of stairs going downward, where there are two guards stationed outside of this room. They monitor who enters the display room. A room even further down holds more exclusive items. This door is warded and guarded by another set of guards. This room contains a few Amulet Of Proof Against Detection And Locations, and some other cool exclusive magical items. Each crate also is warded. Each wards' effect is the following: a 5d8 acid damage explosion runes on failed dex save 5ft radius.
