Up in the Air

General Summary

We start out with Amnun an Eagle carrying Eryn, Tor is in dragon form and has Megera on her back, Debetta is flying, and Jayke is sinking! The boat is capsized and no sailors are visible. We fly back and attempt to assess the situation.
Several attempts to flip the boat. A lot of failed attempts. Even with the 4 sailors saved it took forever to

Encounter: A blue humanoid with no legs (a Geni!), only vapour, hovering over the water and 2 whisps (wind elementals) beside them. We win even though Eryn went down! 3rd watch Megera and a sailor 4th watch Aumnan and a sailor
Finally! A long rest.

1. The Next Day

We spend the morning repairing the boat, looting the other ship, and cooking food. With the help of the crew men, we determine our location and where we need to go. We decide to go to Sha'sal kahue port. Day goes clear and use the spells to move the 11 miles a day. Night we set anchor and do watches. watch 1 Jayke is fine. watch 2 Wryn - rain but quiet Watch 3 Tor - Quiet Watch 4 Debetta - Quiet

Day is clear and late in the day, we see land. Shouseecou are peaceful in this world except for the Illithid. The dwarf gets major respect and we are invited to spend the evening meal. This harbour is the only town on the island and are about 150 people.
We spend the night enjoying food and telling stories. The Religious representative attempts to read the thoughts of Ole' Debetta but she catches him. They talk a bit about Vecna but it is the mention of Castellor that triggers their real interest.
Amnun and the Illithid discuss portals, pointing out Kalmath and where the original portal dropped him, 2 days north of Adletia.

Grock, robed Gith, informs Ole Debetta that what she knows she may not really know. They are familiar with Castellor and have spoken with him within the past year.

Lore: They were enslaved by the Illithid. Githyanki were the primary warrior race. Brutal and blood lusted, they will do what ever it takes to kill. Githzari are polar opposites, more peaceful and have honed their minds to be warriors of magic. They will still kill Illithid on sight. Both races live outside the primal plain.

Next Day The party is lead to a large building where inside is a large ship, almost like a UFO. From that room into another room where we are to all think of where we want to be. Pres- a - Nee awnee. Or at least MOSTLY everyone thought of there. Debetta has a fleeting thought of Castellor...
They arrive to a village of small houses. Halflings are everywhere, giving them weird looks. Tor tries to remember where Taralith's house is from last time. It is half a day's walk from here. When we arrive, Tor updates her on our version of what has happened. Amnun mentions Mithra's mission for him to speak to her specifically. Amnun discusses The Burning Shield and the need to find armor and weapons of similar power. She can help BUT before she does, the party needs to prove themselves by fighting her. She teleports them to a big stone arena and she appears as a large silver dragon.
