Population: Approximately 9600; mixed human and elf. Government: Two factions struggle for control of the city, a council of elders and a noble aristocrat, the elf lady Joane.
Notable Places: The Shrine of Uriel: A stone niche enshrining the holy symbol of Uriel, God of Swords, said to be sometimes visited by the god himself. A column of weathered stone, which glows with magical light upon the night of the solstice.
Greatford Village Notable Places: The ruins of Cutholb Keep.
Upper Heath Ward Notable Places: Aefrild's Pewter: The workshop of a female human pewtersmith named Aefrild, who is rumored to lead a cult of elemental fire. The Honest Merchant: The shop of a female human jewelry merchant named Belia Mery, within which a magical spell prevents lies and falsehoods from being spoken. Eryn's Masonry: The workshop of a female human stonemason named Eryn, who seems to know every dungeon within twenty leagues of town.
