Potterspeak
Potterspeak is a medium sized town with all the local amenities you would expect. The buildings are all formed from wooden logs, and all have puffs of smoke floating out of their chimney, causing a smoky hue above the town.
Despite Potterspeak being next to Sloperstown the two could not be more different. Potterspeak's side of the mountains is far less rich with resources and so instead of glistening the mountains just loom imposingly over the town.
Tourists do not oft visit Potterspeak unless they mistakenly think it is worth a joint visit with Sloperstown. No merchant carts are set up here and the shops in the town are very much orientated around everyday living. The town only has one tourist attraction, a museum of weird and wonderful (but mainly useless) magical artifacts and items.
A small mountain stream runs through the town spliting the full length of the main street into. There are no bridges and people have to leap, leading to the inhabitants nicknames of wet bottoms. The townfolk are often seen cleaning clothes washing pans in the river.
As the adventurers enter the town a sense of distrust is in the air and no one is very welcoming, throwing the party hurried glances and scuttling back into their homes. Wanted posters can be seen on lantern posts across the town.
