Overview
Skreeblar was once a goblin. Not a noble, chosen, or powerful one—just a particularly reckless pyro-savvy tinker-priest with a vision: to ignite the divine.
He is now regarded as a localized demigod, a spiritual force of combustion and cacophony who represents not just fire, but the goblin pursuit of purpose through destruction. To his worshippers, Skreeblar’s final explosion was so perfect—so loud, so luminous, so completely idiotic—that it tore a hole into the metaphysical and launched him into eternal combustion on an astral level.
He is neither fully dead nor fully divine. He simply burns, endlessly, across planes—and some goblins claim to hear him laughing in the embers.

Clerics of Skreeblar are often called Blastpriests, and they channel divine magic through blasting caps, cinderbrands, or screaming censers.
Sacred Teachings ("The Blazing Gospel")
Skreeblar’s scripture is written in scorch marks, singed bone, and exploded parchment. It is rarely legible, never consistent.
Worshippers interpret these "verses" however they want—usually loudly and with at least three vials of alchemical napalm involved.
Shrines & Worship
Shrines to Skreeblar are dangerous, often marked by:
- Perpetual fire-belching braziers
- Hissing steam vents carved into goblin faces
- Rusty pipe-organs that scream his name when kicked
- Explosive effigies that must be re-lit daily
Worship is usually done through:
- The Detonation Dance (involves leaping over fire pits while screaming)
- The Offering of the Blackened Thumb (burn a finger, for clarity)
- Liturgy of the Big Boom (a "communal sermon" followed by setting off something really big)

Skreeblar was constructing “the biggest bomb to ever blow the gods open like oysters.” He built a bomb unlike any mortal had ever seen. Upon ignition, it didn’t kill him—it launched his essence into the astral plane, where he continues to burn, eternally screaming, laughing, and muttering battle recipes.
The Emberfall Prophecy
It is foretold that when Skreeblar finally finishes his Great Combustion, pieces of him will fall as blazing meteorites, each capable of imbuing a goblin with apocalyptic power. The goblin who catches a shard and survives will be crowned the Boomcrowned, ushering in a new Age of Kaboomination.
