Overview

Little is known about Nyzzorak, for it is a god forgotten by most, its very existence obscured by time and mystery. What remains of its image is fragmented

Nyzzorak is associated with the concept of cosmic emptiness, an unrelenting hunger that seeks to erase all that exists. The few surviving records speak of a god who was not driven by malice or cruelty, but by an inevitable, unfeeling desire to consume—an aspect of the universe that pulls all things back into the void from which they came. It is said to have existed before the birth of the cosmos itself, a being beyond understanding, embodying the very principle of oblivion.

Nyzzorak is not a god of reason or logic, nor of hatred or vengeance; he is simply the end. A force that erases all things without judgment or mercy. Its actions—if they can be called that—are beyond the comprehension of mortals, and only the most esoteric scholars speculate on his true nature.

The Sealing of Nyzzorak

Long ago, when the cosmos was young, Nyzzorak descended upon reality, its presence unraveling the very laws of existence. The gods waged war against it, but their weapons shattered, their divine edicts fell upon deaf ears, and their magic was swallowed by its abyssal maw.

It was Malitheran, the God of Forbidden Knowledge, who devised the only solution—to seal Nyzzorak beyond the boundaries of reality itself. But this act came at a terrible price. Malitheran had to gaze into Nyzzorak’s true form, to comprehend its nature, and to weave his own essence into the seal. In doing so, he absorbed a fragment of the abyss, twisting his mind into madness and dooming himself to an eternity of whispers and unraveling thoughts.

With Malitheran’s sacrifice, the gods cast Nyzzorak beyond the veil of existence, into a prison outside time and space, but at a terrible cost.
