Overview
Infernak is one of the Five Shards of Itharyx, a molten gem of triangular-pyramidal form that seethes with boundless flame and unyielding fury.
Infernak once bathed mountains in flame and turned rivers to ash during the Age of Sundering. It is said to have shattered the great peak of Brynn’Athar and carved molten scars across the heartlands of Zalthera. In time, its fury subsided, and it slumbered deep within the hollow bones of a dead volcano—its presence buried beneath layers of time and ruin.
Some claim it was later claimed by a mortal warlord, a would-be firelord who sought dominion through destruction. His empire is now ash, and Infernak was never seen again.
