Sun Elves
Sun Elves are the most proud of the Elven Races. Their military is the strongest of the Elves, and use the powers given to them by the god of light Asolus , one of the children of Eos. They strive to drive darkness out of the world, no matter the cost.
Sun Elves have golden hair that gets paler if they don't expose themselves to sunlight. Their skin tone ranges from tan to bronze. They have golden eyes with white irises. They are the tallest of the Elves, standing between 5'5 and 6'4.

The palace is revered as one of the most impressive architectural feats in all of Zadia, and is on the bucket list of many adventurers.
Common Customs, traditions and rituals
Every year the Sun Elves hold The Trials. These Trials are a celebration of the strongest warriors in Solaris.
Birth & Baptismal Rites
When a child is born in Solaris , it is customary for it to be done outside during the day. Babies born during the night must go through a longer and more extensive baptism. The baptism of children is a ritual with the purpose of blessing them with the power of light. These baptisms occur when the sun is at its highest, and if the child was born at night, can last to sunset.
Coming of Age Rites
When a Sun Elf comes of age, they must prove their might in front of a warrior of light. These warriors are usually the child's teacher, or a soldier of respected rank if they did not have one. This is a trial by combat against their teacher or assigned warrior. If the child is deemed fit for duty, they receive a golden tattoo of a fiery sun that covers most of their back, and in the center, the sun symbol of Solaris is branded in the center of the markings, sitting in between the shoulder blades. These markings are a symbol that deems you a warrior of light, and earns you the respect of nearly every Sun Elf in Solaris. Those who fail their trial are sent to find work within the walls of the city, and are barred from joining the Legion of Radiance or the Nari Riders.
