Material Characteristics

It is a brass/gold colored metal used by the Sun Elves. It is extremely durable, though difficult to shape. Some of the most well crafted weapons have been cited to cut straight through steel armor and weapons.

Physical & Chemical Properties

It is constantly slightly warm to the touch. It is extremely hard to work with, and only smiths that have spent years learning the material can work with it in an efficient manor.

Geology & Geography

It is found underground near Solaris. It has only been found there, and is believed to be a blessing from Éos himself.

Life & Expiration

Luxum can hold magical energy for as long as the metal itself lasts.

History & Usage

History

At the time of it's discovery, reaching it's melting point was nearly impossible by humanoids. It was used in it's raw form as jewelry, but as soon as Sun Elves could melt it, they used it for weapons and armor.

Everyday use

It is used by the soldiers of Solaris as armor and weapons.

Trade & Market

It is extremely expensive to those that live outside of Solaris , and the only way it even leaves Solaris is via internal smuggling.
