Haughton

The inhabitants threw off a despotic ruler a decade ago, but the rebels then shattered into factions. Now the groups compete for power and the town suffers because of it. Burned-out and abandoned buildings can be seen on nearly every street. Some neighborhoods have become fortified compounds. The importing and exporting of traditional goods has nearly ceased. In turmoil because of the fighting factions, many have now turned to black market and contraband sales.

Economy: Legal shipping and bartering is very difficult, as much of the resources go to the warlords vying for this city. Many have simply turned to the black market. Imports: Wine, Beer, Spices, Wheat, Rice, Weapons Exports: Charcoal, Fish, "other commodities"

Attractions:

The Hind's Heart Tavern - the inn is nearly a fortress now. However, it still caters quite well to travelers.

The Temple of Diancecht, goddess of medicine and healing. This temple has been desecrated and is now the temple to multiple different gods of war and courage.

The Shrine of Manannan mac Lir, god of the ocean. This shrine used to be the mac Lir's own home. He was a prominent sailor, and was known to speak to the sea. He died only a few years ago, and has since been deified.

Temple of the Great 12 - a temple dedicated to the worship of the Fates.
