The Dark Lord of the Reach is defeated by an elite strike force of Falinor's greatest heroes at the Black Tower deep within the Reach Unsung. His fall lifted the curse on the land, removing the arcane shroud that engulfed it, and marked the end of the Great War--and the beginning of a New Era.

A select few know the true events of that day, and how decisions made over a year later in that same tower would determine the fate of the past. (cf. 3.3.2 Bane of Dark: A Memory of Dragons, Ch. 3)
