The Eastmarch Begins

Expedition

At the end of the Void War, the armies of the Free Peoples defeated the main void husk horde at a decisive victory at Trollskull bridge on Ches 7 and pushed the remainder back across Crimson Pact territories and into the Voidlands of the former Greater Greenskin Plains.

Following the success of this initial push, a more protracted campaign into the Voidlands began, which came to be called the Eastmarch, with strike teams of soldiers armed with the latest weaponry from Sig the Armsmith's arsenal brought to bear agains the void husk remnants.

Over time, this organized wartime endeavor began to shift into an expeditionary mode, with resettlement becoming increasingly a priority, not only of the Greenskin Plains but off the eastern Reach as a region, now known as the Eastmarch after the conflict of the same name.
