Backstory

Nym hates spiders (and the dark, if he was admitting the hard truth). When his mother found him burning spiders with his magic instead of training his brother, Vin, in swordplay, she was infuriated. When she found out that his magical and divine fire powers came from worship of Eilistraee, and not Lolth, he was exiled from the Underdark. Now Nym has been following the light of his goddess’s moon north until he can walk no further.
