Kur de Corvan

Backstory

Inside the White Mare Inn patrons listen to the crackle of the fire, bustle of conversation, and clinking of mugs of ale.   It would be easy to miss the blonde haired man pouring over his scrolls by candlelight. He sits and eats the evening stew with haste, as if he cannot bear to sit there a moment longer. Even still his eyes never seem to leave the parchment, darting back-and-forth, as if his life depended on it.   At a quick glance he would appear handsome, tall, with long locks of blonde hair and well cut facial features. Upon closer inspection however one might notice that his eyes were shrewd, calculating, but above all else they were cold and unwelcoming.   As soon as his meal was finished, he gathered his scrolls, then stood and walked out. As he strode past other patrons of the inn he hardly gave them a glance as he thought, “such ignorant fools”.   He stepped out into the cold evening and began walking back to the library. “Soon… I’m getting closer”.
