12.15 - Skybattle With Cloud Giants

Robin, Elfriede, Mattias, and Shloopur set off to fly their modded-out archanotech skiff across the Dragonsbane Mountains. As they sail over remote, snowy mountain tops, the party is beset by a pair of cloud giant ghosts, disturbed by the party's passage over a long-lost Cloud Giant Boneyard. Thanks to the adventurers' prudent use of seatbelts, they are not thrown to their deaths by the monsters' magic. Instead, these psychopaths light their own airship on fire and ram the ghosts into oblivion. Having unintentionally discovered the entrance to an ancient, uncharted necropolis, the party carries on to fulfill their diplomatic mission to Falinor.
