11.27 - Wyvern at the Belltower

General Summary

Responding to Barksdale’s call to hunt down the remaining goblin horde that retreated south after the battle, Domokos, Shloopurr, Ami, and Eliana followed ogre tracks to the Old Belltower. Noting that the surviving goblin forces appeared to have retreated in the direction of the Trollskull Bridge, the heroes decided to investigate the tower, where the ogres seemed to still be residing. They quickly discovered that the ogres were in a bloody fight with what turned out to be a young wyvern who had taken up residence in the top of the belltower. After attempting to communicate their friendliness to the wyvern, the party made short work of its attackers, and they seemed to impress it when Domokos demonstrated his tactical badassery, Ami spoke to it in the tongues of beasts, and Eliana healed some of its wounds. After seeming to connect with get Hobgoblin captain, the wyvern flew away, leaving the heroes to wonder if they might ever see it again.
