11.21 - Troll Diplomacy

General Summary

Shloopurr, Ami, Oktar, Eliana, and Elfriede, hoping to weaken the advancing goblin army in preparation of their assault on the town, decided to risk Elfriede's teleportation spell to establish diplomatic relations with the trolls of Trollskull River. Somehow manging the spell flawlessly, the party then relied on Shloopurr's advanced social skills (and a powerful magical spell) to speak to the trolls in a language they understood: the Giant tongue, but also beer and bongs. One signed contract later and very few sober heads among the five of them, the party deftly navigated the ravine north and made it through the Darkwood to make it back to Last Rest without running into any goblin patrols. While a large force still advances on the town, their supply lines and chance at reinforcements from the east has been cut off by the trolls, who have agreed to occupy the bridge as long as a troll toll is paid by any adventurers who seek safe passage in the future.
