Ni
Ni is the most impersonal of the major deities, likely being the oldest of all of them and deriving her cult from the ancestors of the early fisherpeople. Especially important in the Quingnam pantheon, she is widely worshiped across the coast, especially by anyone involved with sailing or fishing. Countless myths and legends expound upon her mysteries, especially prominent is the recurring motif of a great hero who plumbs her depths to attain ancient and primeval power, slaying her countless monstrous offspring while descending through her abyss. Ni is universally honored by casting sacrificial offerings into the sea.
