The Great Empty is a large section of land located at the center of the nation of Sok, on the island of D'Nalsi. The Great Empty is notable for a number of reasons, as it has been the site of many conflicts for control over the island and its resources.
Geography
Prior to the construction of The Nexus, the Great Empty was fully devoid of life. No plants grew, and no amimals walked the fields. For centuries, people assumed the circular area was an omen of darkness, an area scorched by the fires of the Lower Planes. Others believed it was a warning from the divines, some reminder of a past civilization who may have earned their ire.
