The Abyss

The Abyss, one of the Lower Planes, is a realm of total darkness, a plane so devoid of light that no amount of magic could allow you to see as far out as the tip of your nose. According to legend, the edges of the Abyss are comprised of massive walls of flesh, made up of the bodies and souls of the poor fools who were doomed here for all eternity. None know what lie beyond these walls, though many suggest that these walls hide an ever darker fate, for those who are strong enough to force their way behind those damned boundaries.
