The Calendar System for all the realms of YonZora.

The following list of months, weeks, and days were created by the Council of Tranquility after the fall of the Zavabu empire when Atlantis mysteriously vanished in the year -5000 AD. Millions upon millions of people, creatures, and land was either destroyed or killed through out all the realms. The large power base of Zavabu was wiped out in this devestating event in one 24 hour period. The old system was heavly based on Egyptian culture and its beliefs still practiced by what remains of the Zavabu empire. The council of tranquility decided to base the system on what they believe is the four main pantheons that most of the people believe in on the planet of YonZora no matter what relam they live in. The months are based on Greek and Roman pantheons while the days of the week is based on the Egyptain and Norse pantheons. This process took several years to complete and be voted on by each realm of YonZora. The Zavabu empire was the last to vote and finally comply with the rest of the realms. Once voted on then the scholars from each realm rewrote there history to match the current calandar system that was voted on taking several more years. Every realm on the planet of YonZora currently follows this system.
A day consist of a 24 hour period: The current system has 365 24 hour periods called a day. Only 360 of the 24 hour periods actually count as day on the calendar system. There are five 24 hour periods that do not count as a day on the calendar, but are celebrated as a 24 hour holiday period. This was done to make the calendar a simple 30 day period. These 24 hour periods are tax free days for everyone because they are not counted on the calendar.
Months in Order: The following is the 12 months that were chosen and listed in order that was voted upon by the council. A month consist of 30 days In between some of the months is the before mentioned holiday periods that do not count as offical days.

The following is a list of the the three week period and the days of the week in that period. A week consist of 10 days called a Ten-day and there are three 10-day periods in a month. There were only 10 pantheons chosen to represent the days of the week. Therefore the days of the week are repeated for each 10-day period.

History

-5000 AD: The is current caladar system was voted on by the Coucil of Tranquiltiy after the fall of the Atlantis the captial city of the Zavabu empire in the year -5000 AD. The process took over seven years to complete from start to finsh.

Significance

This was the first time that all the realms of YonZora reached out and made an accord with each other. The leaders of the Zavabu empire were very harsh and cruel finding a way to rule and controll most of the realms in all of YonZora. This inclulded keeping them from commuicating with each other. When Atlantis was wiped off the face of YonZora this changed the power dynamic of every thing.  The council of Tranquilty was created to unite a world wide calandar system, common trade currency, and common trade Language. This boosted the world wide economy of all the realms.
