Aaldan Lowlands

The Aaldan Lowlands is a region located in the western half of Bal. It is nestled in a fertile valley at the northern tip of the Aaldan Sea. With the Torrin Mountains to the west and the Barrin Mountains to the North, the Aaldan Lowlands are protected from the brunt of the frigid winds that blow down from the north during Bitterwind. The region is home to the Merchant Federation of New Baraas and The North Kingdom. New Baraas, the capitol city of the Merchant Federation is believed to be the oldest city in Bal and one of the oldest cities in all of Yllshara.
