Luné

The moon orbiting Yerth. It is broadly believed to be the realm of earth elementals. The moon is tidally locked to Yerth, so the same side is always facing the planet. Silvery-white stone covers its surface, with patches of shadowy rock, mountains and deep valleys.

Geography

The surface of Luné is covered in greyish white rock, which reflects brightly when the sun shines on it. The brightness of the rock makes the dark, shadowed valleys, craters, and fissures even darker. A thin atmosphere covers Lune. All sources of water are deep underground, accessed by wells and caves diving deep beneath the surface. The "far" side of Luné has larger craters, deeper fissures, taller mountains and a plethora of natural caves. The rough terrain can be difficult to navigate but makes finding food, water and shelter easier.

History

Lune was an undeveloped landscape with relatively sparse wildlife, until it was colonized by refugee Sky elves at the end of the Elfwar.
The elves built a city Leren Luné but abandoned it after a devastating plague spread through the city.
