The Sun Twins

The World of Golivion is known for having two suns during the day. These suns are known as Eurstreich and Eurhelles. The people of Yershmier worship Eurstreich and Eurhelles as gods. Eurhelles is the sun god of heat, anger, and war. Eurhelles embodies the fiery heat shown in battle by great warriors, many Sunlight Soldiers choose Eurhelles as their patron god to follow. Eurstreich on the other is the sun god of light, trickery, and illusion. Eurstreich represents how the sun god can bring good fortune as well as bad luck. Many Sunspot Trickery as well as Light clerics choose Eurstreich as their patron god.
In mythology, Eurhelles and Eurstreich were the sons of Selûne (the goddess of the moon) and Lathander (the god of birth and renewal). When they were born it was said the entire world lit up.
